A house fire in Scrivener Street, O'Connor has been extinguished.
The fire was reported about 12.15pm and forced the closure of Scrivener Street.
Paramedics have transported one resident to hospital.
ACT Fire & Rescue and ACT Policing remain at the property. The cause of the fire and extent of the damage is unknown at this stage.
The Emergency Services Agency advises the community to avoid the area.
