GOLF has been stopped at The Old Course in St Andrews as emergency services attend a road traffic collision nearby.
It is understood two veichles vehicles outside The Rusacks Hotel in the town centre.
Links Cresent has been closed as paramedic attend the scene, as well as an air ambulance, landing on the golf course.
Drivers are being asked to use alternative routes through the town centre.
Poice Scotland Fife said: "Links Crescent in St Andrews is closed as emergency services deal with a road traffic collision involving two vehicles. Motorists are asked to avoid the area and seek an alternative route."
