Dramatic pictures show the scene of a serious crash involving multiple cars on a major road.
Emergency services were called to Dunnings Bridge Road , at the junction of Copy Lane, shortly after 9pm to reports of a collision.
It is believed that a number of vehicles were involved in the crash that caused significant damage to the front of one car which was still at the scene when police arrived.
Images taken at the scene show a number of police cars and an ambulance blocking the road while officers carried out their enquiries.
It is not yet known if anyone was injured in the collision but police managed to direct traffic around the crash site.
A recovery vehicle removed the two cars from the road at around 9.45pm.
