Emergency services at scene of road crash in Co Tyrone

Emergency services were called to the scene of a one vehicle road crash in Co Tyrone on Tuesday morning.

The collision happened in the village of Artigarvan near Strabane, with the PSNI and the Ambulance Service in attendance.

Drivers have been advised that the Berryhill Road in the village is closed and asked to avoid the area.

"Motorists are advised of diversions at the Berryhill Road, Artigarvan, as police and colleagues from the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service attend a serious single vehicle road traffic collision," a PSNI spokesperson said

"Diversions are in place for west-bound traffic at the junction with the Leakpatrick Road, and for east-bound traffic at the junction with the Ballyskeagh Road.

"Please avoid the area if you can and seek an alternative route for your journey."
