Emergency service crews are dealing with an ongoing incident in Kilmarnock town centre.
Fire engines and police are in attendance at lane at the back of Titchfield Street where it meets Fowlds Street.
Fire crews appear to be dealing with an incident that could involve the Five Star restaurant in the town.
An eyewitness at the scene said: “There are a lot of firefighters and police officers at the incident.
“It looks quite serious, there are a few of them inside the building and some giving assistance outside.
“There’s a number of emergency service vehicles, and I could smell smoke from outside it.
“A crowd of people have gathered to see what’s going on.”
