Emergency repairs are to be carried out on Shettleston Road this afternoon (Sunday) which will likely result in delays for motorists in the area.
The roadworks will take place between Fenella Street and Old Shettleston Road from 1.30pm until 5pm this evening.
Glasgow City Council's Traffic Control and Management team (TRAFFCOM) confirmed: "Emergency carriageway repair works will be carried out on Shettleston Road between Fenella Street & Old Shettleston Road, throughout the period of these roadworks, delays are expected.
"The works will take place from 1330 hrs to 1700 hrs on Sunday 27th October 2019
"Delays are anticipated, especially at peak times.
"Drivers are advised to avoid the area and seek an alternative route."
