Emergency services rushed to a blaze in Hamilton this morning.
Fire crews were called just after 11.44am following reports that a fire had taken hold inside a property.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said four appliances are on the scene at George Court in Burnbank.
Fire crews are tackling flames inside the home on the second story of the four story block of flats,
An SFRS spokeswoman said: “We were alerted to reports of a fire within a domestic property 11.44am.
“Operations Control mobilised four fire engines to George Court where crews are currently tackling the fire.
“Fire crews remain at the scene.”
