Emergency crews respond to Isabella Plains house fire

Emergency crews are responding to a house fire at Isabella Plains.

The ACT Emergency Services Agency said the fire started about 11.45am at a home on Cromwell Circuit.

A spokeswoman for the agency said it was not known if anyone was inside the house at the time of the fire.

Multiple fire crews have been called out to the scene to extinguish the blaze.

Paramedics are at the scene as of 12.45pm, while a roadblock in the area has been set up by police.

Residents in neighbouring homes have not been evacuated, the agency spokeswoman said.

Drivers have been urged to avoid the area.
