Emergency crews race to three-car crash on busy Scots road

Emergency crews raced to a three car smash on a Scots road this morning.

Police and paramedics were called to the A737 near Linwood, Renfrewshire at around 8.50am to reports of the serious crash.

Traffic Scotland bosses warned motorists of delays amid the crash involving 'several vehicles'.

A tweet from the Scottish Government body read: "A737 N/B after Linwood is partially blocked due to an RTC involving several vehicles. Police are on scene but traffic is slow to pass."

All the cars were later recovered after the emergency services attended the incident.

It is unclear at this time if there were any injuries as a result of the crash.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: "At around 8.50am on Saturday, 30 October, officers were called to a report of a road crash involving three cars on the A737 near Linwood.

"Police and ambulance attended and the vehicles were recovered."
