Emergency services raced to a smash near a Paisley supermarket this afternoon.
Police and fire crews rushed to Ferguslie, near Aldi, after reports of a serious road accident at around 2.15pm.
Two fire appliances and a number of emergency crews surrounded a badly damaged dark coloured car.
It is unknown if there were any injuries as a result of the incident.
Police Scotland and The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service have been contacted.
