Emergency crews were called to a Stockport beauty spot to help a man "in crisis" this afternoon.
Police were called to Reddish Vale Country Park to assist a man who was on a footbridge over a river on Saturday afternoon (July 25).

The fire service and ambulance crews also attended and the man was brought down from the bridge safely.
He has been taken to hospital, Greater Manchester Police said.
A spokesperson for the force said officers were called to assist a "male adult in crisis on the footbridge over the river".
"Police, fire and ambulance attended and the incident is now resolved."
