Emergency crews called to four-vehicle smash in Stockport

Emergency crews were called to a four-vehicle crash in Stockport on Friday night.

The collision happened on Belmont Street, in Heaton Norris, just after 11.30pm on August 27.

Nobody was seriously injured during the incident, police said.

No arrests have been made.

Photographs shared with the Manchester Evening News show a damaged silver car at the scene.

A black car can also be seen behind a police cordon, along with an ambulance and medical staff.

Enquiries are on-going and Greater Manchester Police is asking anyone with information about the incident to get in touch.

A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “We were called just after 11:30pm to reports of a collision involving four vehicles on Belmont Street in Heaton Norris.

“Emergency services attended, it doesn't look like there were any serious injuries, and no arrests - enquiries are on-going.”
