Emergency crews called to fire at Majura property

Emergency crews are responding to a fire that has broken out in a farm shed in Majura.

The blaze started at the property on Majura Road, north of the Majura Park shopping centre, at 11.15am on Tuesday.

An ACT Emergency Services Agency spokeswoman said the fire was under control and crews were working to extinguish the blaze.

The spokeswoman said three pumper trucks, one breathing apparatus crews and a commander were at the scene.

Firefighters from Parks and Conservation Services have also been called in.

It's not known what was inside the shed or what started the fire.

Officers are expected to remain at the scene for several hours.
