EMERGE Belfast: PSNI warn drivers of traffic delays as road set to close

Road users in South and East Belfast are advised to anticipate some traffic disruption on Friday evening due to a concert in Ormeau Park.

Ormeau embankment will be closed to through traffic from the Ormeau Road junction, to the Ravenhill Road junction from 4pm until midnight.

Coaches and buses transporting people to the EMERGE concert will be facilitated by approaching the embankment from the Ormeau Road junction.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "For concert goers, please consider using public transport and if you are arranging collection by private car or taxi after the event, please agree your collection points well away from the venue and please respect local residents.

"For further information about the concert arrangements: www.Belsonic.com / public transport services: www.translink.co.uk."
