'Embarrassing' - What Oxford United fans said about their defeat to Bristol Rovers

Bristol Rovers made it two wins on the bounce with a 3-1 victory over Oxford United.

The Gas won thanks to goals from Ed Upson, Jonson Clarke-Harris and Tom Nichols in a game that also saw Matty Taylor's return to the Memorial Stadium.

Here is what the opposition fans thought of the game.

Matt Bruce: Very disappointing. Showed plenty of promise in the early stages but then got bullied out of it and had no response to falling behind. We'll drop plenty more points this season too if we can only pick up points against teams who let us play.

Brad Pittick: Losing three games on the bounce with an average of 62.5% possession and 16 shots on goal is quite worrying. But I'm sure this is just an off period for the team because they've shown they're more than capable of dominating teams with the stats clearly showing that.

Nick: I think Karl must love Toblerone. Our obsession with playing pretty triangles that go nowhere have led my to this conclusion.

Joe Citrone: Only positive is that Woodburn is off the mark. That'll do his confidence the world of good. Has a lot of talent, just needs some rough edges smoothing.

Wolfie: Seven goals in two games against physical sides. These lads better get a bit more streetwise. Can’t pass around teams every week!

Dan Willoughby: Well that was embarassing.

Jack Shoemark: Not really sure what to say about that game. For the second time in a week, we were leading and looking reasonably comfortable. And then just folded.

Ashley Hall: Robinson won’t budge from his 4-2-3-1 formation and it’s costing a squad of good players. The sooner Baptiste is in there with Gorrin and Brannagan, the better.

Oxley: Not commented on many games this season. But that was poor. Like last season poor. No plan b, nothing going forward, can’t string a pass together. Very poor against a very poor team.
