'Embarrassing' - Leeds United fans question Marcelo Bielsa decision ahead of Barnsley clash

Leeds United's automatic promotion hopes remain in their hands as the Premier League beckons for Marcelo Bielsa's side.

The Whites only require four points from their remaining three games to seal promotion, and the first match sees Barnsley travel to Elland Road on Thursday evening.

Team selection wise, Bielsa has made one change to his starting line-up with Gaetano Berardi coming into the side to replace the injured Kalvin Phillips.

This means Ben White steps up midfield, with Mateusz Klich and Tyler Roberts either side.

Helder Costa and Jack Harrison are further forward, with Patrick Bamford leading the line.

At the back, Luke Ayling, Berardi, Liam Cooper and Stuart Dallas make up the back-four, with Illan Meslier retaining his place between the sticks.

This is despite the return of Kiko Casilla on the bench, after the goalkeeper having served his eight-match ban for using racist language towards Jonathan Leko during a Championship match against Charlton on September 28.

The former Real Madrid keeper initially denied the charge, but an independent regulatory commission found a breach of Rule E3(2) proven and Casilla was fined £60,000 and ordered to attend face-to-face education.

And his inclusion in the squad prompted some reaction from Leeds fans on social media.

One supporter wrote: "Why is Kiko on the bench? The guy was banned for making racist remarks...."

Another posted: "Get Kiko off the bench and out of the club. Embarrassing from us."
