'Embarrassing!' - Angry Chelsea fans noticed what Kepa Arrizabalaga did against West Ham

Chelsea fans have been reacting to Kepa Arrizabalaga's role in West Ham United's equaliser.

The Blues no.1 looked extremely unconvincing at a corner as he came off his line with the intention of coming to claim the ball, only to backtrack and seconds later he was picking the ball out of his net.

This came shortly after Willian had given the west London outfit the lead from the penalty spot after Christian Pulisic had been fouled in the area.

Frank Lampard's plan for Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech

And before that, Kepa breathed a huge sign of relief when Tomas Soucek - scorer of the Hammers' equaliser - had a goal chalked disallowed when VAR intervented.

A decision that didn't sit well with Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville.

"I don’t like that one. Not for me, that one. I’m not against the introduction of technology in the game and I think I’m one, to be fair, who’s got a level of patience to know that it will get better and better," Neville said on co-commentary.

"But that for me will never be right, the interference maybe. I don’t know. So close. Antonio on Kepa, I’m not sure that’s interference. I’m not sure he’s even offside.

"Usually we see a definitive line, don’t we, where we can see if it is actually offside. There are two things here - is he actually interfering?

"Then, the offside itself. We saw those lines appear, but we never saw the outcome. Sometimes when you’re commentating on these games with the small screen in front of us, you sometimes may not get it right.

"We may not be right, but it just doesn’t feel right. They’ve watched it that many times. Three and a half minutes to make a decision. If he got a touch, then no problem, then you could argue he is interfering. Without that touch, I’m not sure."

However, there's no technology that can save Kepa from the ire of many Chelsea supporters.

Take a look at what's been said on Twitter...

Soucek's goal proved to be one of the final acts of the first-half, and as thing stood at the break, Chelsea were moving level on points with third-placed Leicester City.

This is after the Foxes were beaten 2-1 by Everton earlier in the day.

With that said, Blues head coach Frank Lampard will certainly let his side know that all three points would see them open up a lead over City and increase their chances of qualifying for next season's Champions League.
