Embarrassed Ranvir Singh apologises to Sean Fletcher as her 'amorous' dog humps him

Ranvir Singh apologised profusely to her co host Sean Fletcher on Good Morning Britain after her "amorous" pup humped him on Monday.

Ranvir had brought her adorable pooch Shmizzels in to work for their early morning meeting so he wasn't left on his own.

But chaos soon ensured as Ranvir had to apologise to her team for her dog's humping and sharp teeth.

"I feel I owe you an apology Sean, I know it's only 17 minutes past six," Ranvir began.

"I've just had to apologise, there was a rather over-amorous incident that occurred this morning, completely not of Sean's doing.

"I'm sorry you were humped by my dog, I apologise," she said.

"I didn't know if you were gonna go there!" laughed Sean.

A clip played of Sean and Shmizzels playing as Ranvir explained: "This is the sort of flirting moment, I had to bring him in this morning by the way."

Sean narrated it: "We are playing with each other, this is our morning meeting, you brought your dog in and I was basically a dog sitter throughout the whole meeting, while you did the meeting with Ben, our producer, I was having to look after the dog.

"Because puppies bite you, it's all playful, and he really liked the smell of me because I've got a girl dog and you've got a boy dog, and that's when the humping started."

Ranvir joked: "You're deflecting here, we all have over-amorous feelings towards you Sean, I'm not wrong am I Laura?"

"No!" replied weather presenter Laura Tobin.

"We all just have to keep our distance," added Ranvir.

"No ladies hump me like your dog. He is an adorable dog but when he started humping me I thought we'd crossed the line," laughed Sean.

"There is a point to be made there, but I just felt like leaving him at home until 10am this morning was a bit much," said Ranvir, adding that a member of the team was dog-sitting backstage,

"He has got very sharp teeth, I apologise to everyone in the studio," she said.

* Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV at 6am
