Embankment stabbing: Two men knifed outside central London Tube station hours after knife attack in Trafalgar Square

Two men were knifed this morning outside Embankment Underground Station.

Police were called to the scene at 4.40am where they found one man, 20, with knife wounds.

He was rushed to hospital for treatment, a spokeswoman for Scotland Yard said.

Shortly after police were notified that a second man, also 20, had taken himself to hospital.

Their wounds are not life-threatening, police said.

No arrests have been made and enquiries into the incident are ongoing.

The incident occurred just hours after a stabbing in Trafalgar Square, less than half a mile from the scene, the night before.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call 101 quoting CAD 1064/22 August.
