Elton John has hailed the band fronted by Bono’s son Elijah as “f***ing amazing”.
The English music legend, 72, revealed that the U2 singer was among the famous faces who visited him over the summer at his holiday home in Nice, France.
He told GQ Magazine: “I reconnected with Pete Townshend, who I hadn’t seen for years, and that was lovely, and Michael Stipe, who always comes here every year, and we’ve seen Bono and The Edge.”
But the Candle In The Wind singer reserved special praise for Bono’s third-eldest child, Eli.
He continued: “Bono’s son is in a band called Inhaler from Dublin and they’re f***ing amazing.”
Inhaler have already played several big events including Electric Picnic in August, and stole the show at Dublin’s New Year’s Eve celebrations on Custom House Quay.
Legendary singer-songwriter Elton is currently promoting his recently released autobiography ‘Me’, which hit shelves earlier this month.
And rocker Bono is also currently penning a book of his own - but Elton claims he didn’t offer any tips.
He added: “I don’t think he needs any advice from me. We had the most wonderful summer with him.
“He’s a great mimic and he was talking a lot about his early days and how he met his wife’s family and how they all were in the same school.
“Hearing about those early days in Dublin was great, as you don’t often hear Bono talking about that and it made me even more fond of him.”
