Never mind sex, drugs & rock’n’roll, Sir Elton John’s new vice is a Greggs’ sausage roll.
The singer devoured the pork treat on the set of his upcoming Christmas collaboration with festive chart-topper LadBaby, Sausage Rolls for Everyone.
“As we were singing, he ate it all,” says LadBaby.
“At the end of the video he said: ‘That’s the best sausage roll I’ve ever had. Where’s that from?’ We said Greggs. And he said: ‘I’m not going to Sainsbury’s anymore. That’s where I’m getting them from’.”
Elton and Ed Sheeran have reworked their current No1 single Merry Christmas to help social media star LadBaby in his attempts to break The Beatles and the Spice Girls’ festive chart-topping record of three consecutive Xmas No1’s.

The pair dressed as sausage rolls to be filmed sneaking undetected into the recording studio. Elt even wore Poundland glasses – just hours after receiving his Companion of Honour from Windsor Castle.
LadBaby says: “It’s quite surreal. Windsor Castle to a Greggs sausage roll.”
All profits from the song, out tomorrow, go to foodbank charity the Trussell Trust. LadBaby’s three previous No1’s have helped raise over £1.2million.

Alan Carr

Cynics claimed Alan Carr’s impromptu performance of Make You Feel My Love was a setup during ITV ’s Adele special. But he insists not.
“I was horrified,” he tells Radio 2. “They’d cut out the first five minutes of me going, ‘No, Adele, no, please not me!’ And then of course in the edit, I’m jumping up like a rat up a drainpipe, like one of these X-Factor starlet wannabees.
“People said it was such a setup, but you’d think I’d learn the words if I was going to sing at the Palladium with one of the biggest stars in the world.”
You would hope so.
