Elton John has been wowed by an incredible piece of art depicting both him and Dua Lipa in a viral TikTok.
Artist Julia Gisella, who has almost six million followers, has created a mind-bending work of art which changes depending on whether the art is viewed through the blue or the red lens.
The “I’m Still Standing” singer stitched Gisella’s video on TikTok and recorded his real-time reaction to her drawing.
Cleverly, she drew Dua Lipa in blue and Elton John in red so each lens of her 3D glasses would highlight just one of the musicians.
Most of the comments mentioned the bug that invaded the shot, whereas others compared John to the main character of Up! due to his glasses.
John recently released a fun electronic bop with Lipa, “Cold Heart”, which reached number one in The Official Big Top 40.

Even after all this time making music and putting it out there, a number 1 still means so much and I couldn’t be prouder of the song, @DUALIPA and @pnau for what we’ve produced. pic.twitter.com/KEwEsZBblE
That’s not the only good news for fans of Sir Elton. On 22 October his new album, The Lockdown Sessions, will be released.
Created during the pandemic, the album features contributions from Stevie Wonder, Lil Nas X, Stevie Nicks, Gorillaz, and Eddie Vedder. Rappers Young Thug and Nicki Minaj also feature, as does Brandi Carlile.
Teasing the new album, John uploaded a sweet TikTok to his account featuring the names of all the artists he’s working with in recent months to create the album.
One commenter joked: “You can just add my name on a blank one please.”
