Elton John has praised Bono's son Elijah's band as "f***ing amazing".
The English music legend, 72, also spoke of how U2's Bono and the Edge were amongst the big names who visited him at his holiday hom in Nice, France over the summer.
He told GQ Magazine: "I reconnected with Pete Townshend, who I hadn’t seen for years, and that was lovely, and Michael Stipe, who always comes here every year, and we’ve seen Bono and The Edge."
But the Candle In The Wind singer reserved special praise for Bono's third-eldest child Eli.
He continued: "Bono’s son is in a band called Inhaler from Dublin and they’re f***ing amazing."
Inhaler have already played several big events including Electric Picnic in August, and stole the show at Dublin's New Year's Eve celebrations on Custom House Quay.
Legendary singer-songwriter Elton is currently promoting his recently released autobiography 'Me', which hit shelves earlier this month.
And U2 rocker Bono is also currently penning a book of his own, but Elton claims he didn't offer any tips.
He added: "I don’t think he needs any advice from me. We had the most wonderful summer with him.
"He’s a great mimic and he was talking a lot about his early days and how he met his wife’s family and how they all were in the same school.
"Hearing about those early days in Dublin was great, as you don’t often hear Bono talking about that and it made me even more fond of him."
