Elton John gave an emotional Lola Young a special present backstage at the Oscars.
On Sunday (15 March) the 78-year-old singer hosted his annual Oscars viewing party, which raises funds for the Elton John AIDS Foundation each year.
Ahead of the star-studded event, John presented Young, who was performing at the after party, with an evil eye ring - a protective talisman designed to ward off negative energy.
“You can’t buy an evil eye for yourself, someone has to buy one for you and it protects you,” he said before kissing Young’s hand, who became emotional as she thanked him for the gift.
