DETROIT _ Eloy Jimenez had two hits, including a three-run home run, and four RBIs Tuesday as the Chicago White Sox beat the Detroit Tigers 8-4 at Comerica Park.
The Sox snapped a three-game losing streak and are back at .500 (9-9).
Starting pitcher Dallas Keuchel criticized the Sox for coming out flat in Monday's 5-1 loss. The team responded Tuesday with a big first inning. Jimenez's home run capped a four-run first.
Tim Anderson, who was reinstated earlier Tuesday from the injured list, started the inning with a walk. He scored on a single by Jose Abreu. Jimenez's three-run shot to right made it 4-0.
Edwin Encarnacion hit a solo home run to left in the fourth. It was the designated hitter's first time playing since leaving an Aug. 4 game with soreness and inflammation in his left shoulder.
Jimenez drove in Abreu with a single to right in the sixth, giving the Sox a 6-2 lead. Abreu drove in Anderson with a double during a two-run seventh. Abreu had three hits and two RBIs.
