Eloy Jimenez and Reynaldo Lopez exit with injuries, while Luis Robert hits his 1st career home run in the White Sox's 14-2 loss to the Twins

CHICAGO _ Chicago White Sox left fielder Eloy Jimenez and pitcher Reynaldo Lopez exited with injuries early in Sunday's 14-2 loss to the Minnesota Twins at Guaranteed Rate Field.

Jimenez left in the second inning with lightheadedness, one inning after crashing into the left-field wall. He was still being evaluated at the conclusion of the game. Lopez left with two outs in the first inning with right shoulder tightness. He will be re-evaluated Monday.

Jimenez crashed into the wall while tracking Jake Cave's grand slam in the first. He was on the ground for a bit, but he remained in the game after the training staff checked on him.

The training staff checked on Jimenez again in the second after Eddie Rosario doubled to the gap in left-center. Jimenez then left the game.

Lopez allowed four runs on three hits and two walks in two-thirds of an inning.

There was one highlight for the Sox as Luis Robert hit the first home run of his career. The two-run blast to center in the fifth went an estimated 419 feet.

Nelson Cruz went 4-for-5 with two doubles, two home runs and seven RBIs for the Twins, who took two of three in the first series of the pandemic-shortened season.
