Tesla founder Elon Musk has said his European car factory will be based in Germany.
The new "Gigafactory" will be near Berlin, and should open its doors by 2021. Jobs are already being advertised.
"Everyone knows that German engineering is outstanding and that's part of the reason we are locating our Gigafactory Europe in Germany," he said at Germany's Golden Steering Wheel awards.
"We are also going to create an engineering and design centre in Berlin because I think Berlin has some of the best art in the world."
Of course, the same cold be said about the UK - where a design centre had been planned in the past - so when Auto Express asked him why he chose Germany over Britain, Musk revealed that " Brexit [uncertainty] made it too risky".

The Berlin plant will be the fourth Tesla's Gigafactory, in addition to ones in Nevada, New York and Shanghai.
Musk said his newly unveiled Model Y SUV would be built in the German plant as well as batteries and powertrains for other models.
The factory is also expected to make the company's best-selling car,the Model 3, which was named Car of the Year at the Parkers New Car Awards last month .

Shadow business secretary Rebecca Long-Bailey said the Government was to blame.
"Tesla has announced that it won't be building a Gigafactory in the UK because of Johnson's 'risky' sell-out Brexit," she said.
"Honda and Ford have already announced plant closures and both Nissan and Vauxhall have warned that the introduction of tariffs would jeopardise their European production."
