Alec Shelbrook has been re-elected as the MP for Elmet and Rothwell.
Voters in areas such as Rothwell, Woodlesford, Garforth, Scarcroft, Boston Spa and Wetherby have decided to back the Tory for a third consecutive term.
He claimed a comfortable victory on Friday morning, taking 33,726 votes - almost twice as many as runner up David Nagle (Labour).
