Elliott Frear to Hearts transfer latest as winger offered 'short term deal'

ElliotT Frear has reportedly been offered a short-term Hearts deal after impressing on trial.

Robbie Neilson offered the former Motherwell winger a chance to earn a move as Hearts returned to training last week.

And the Daily Record claim he has returned home to England to consider an offer from the Jambos.

Neilson is keen on adding reinforcements in the wide areas as he brought in former Inverness forward Jordan Roberts during the week.

The Hearts boss is continuing to reshape his side as Uche Ikpeazu is reportedly having a medical at Wycombe.

The target man is expected to follow the likes of Conor Washington, Sean Clare and Callumn Morrison who have recently left Tynecastle.

Meanwhile, Hearts are 'incensed' after they were ordered to stop training after the SPFL and SFA released new measures after Celtic left-back Boli Bolingoli's and Aberdeen's coronavirus breaches.

The Edinburgh club are not allowed to return to training until August 24 as the joint response group implement the new rules before the Championship and lower leagues start in October.
