Elliot Daly to make Saracens return in Exeter Chiefs clash after fourth months on the sidelines

Elliot Daly will make his first appearance since the summer British and Irish Lions tour after being picked to start for Saracens against Exeter Chiefs on Saturday.

Daly has been out injured for four months after suffering a stress fracture in his leg, which required surgery, but he is now fit to start.

The England international will start on the wing and is one of three changes to the Saracens XV, with back-row Ben Earl returning and Alex Lewington also coming into the side.

London Irish are also in action on Saturday, when they host Newcastle Falcons, and flanker Juan Martin Gonzalez will hope to make his debut off the bench.

The Argentina international joined Irish in October and is now ready to make his first appearance this weekend.

Harlequins round off the weekend’s action by travelling to Leicester Tigers, who are currently top of the Premiership after winning all their games so far this season.

Reigning champions Quins, who are third, lost to London Irish last week, their third defeat of the campaign, and senior coach Tabai Matson is keen to bounce back quickly.

“There’s a long uninterrupted stretch now of games so hopefully we can start to build that momentum again,” he said.
