Ellie Warner from Gogglebox announces gender of baby

Gogglebox star Ellie Warner has revealed the gender of her first child. She said she was having a boy.

Ellie stars on the Channel 4 show with her sister Izzi. In December she announced during an episode that she was expecting her first baby with long-term partner Nat Eddleston.

On Friday's show she confirmed that she was having a boy. Ellie and Izzi were joined on the show by Izzi's children, Bessie and Bobby.

Ellie asked Bessie if she knew what was in her tummy. Bessie told her she knew there was a baby inside of her, and said she knew that the baby could hear her as Ellie tried to get her to talk to her unborn cousin, reports Birmingham Live.

Izzi then asked Bobby if he wanted to introduce himself to the baby and he told her 'No not yet'. But he did say that he was pleased he was getting a boy cousin and not a girl.

Ellie announced her pregnancy with Nat on the Channel 4 show in December. While showing her sister the ultrasound scan, Ellie said: "I went for a scan on Saturday."

She then joked: "When I showed mum the picture she said 'oh can I take a picture' you didn't even look at it for two minutes." Izzi laughed as she told her sister: "I'll stare at it a bit longer just to make you happy."

Ellie had a hellish year in 2022 after her boyfriend Nat Eddleston was hit by a car in a horror accident in March last year, which left him fighting for his life in hospital. He is now thankfully recovering.

Gogglebox continues on Channel 4 next Friday at 9pm.
