Ellie Warner boyfriend update from police as Nat remains in critical condition and driver 'questioned'

West Yorkshire police have issued a new update on Gogglebox star Ellie Warner’s boyfriend Nat’s case.

Nat Eddleston was left severely injured and admitted to intensive care last month, after being hit by a car in Leeds during a night out.

West Yorkshire Police confirmed they have spoken to the driver of the car during their ongoing investigation and told The Sun that "the driver was questioned".

In a short statement, West Yorkshire Police confirmed: "The pedestrian remains in a critical but stable condition in hospital and enquiries into the incident are ongoing".

Last month, Nat was said to have a broken back and collapsed lungs and his long-term girlfriend Ellie has been by his side. Leeds-born star Ellie has not been seen on the hit Channel 4 show while Nat recovers in hospital.

She usually appears on the award-winning production alongside her sister Izzi since they joined the Channel 4 show in 2015. It has also been reported that Gogglebox have paid Ellie her £1,500 show fee in full to put her mind at rest about money, amid the ongoing circumstances.

The 31-year-old television personality was recently spotted being comforted by friends at a Wetherspoons pub, the first time she had been seen publicly since the accident.
