Ellie Goulding debuted her 30-week bump on Wednesday, hours after her surprise pregnancy announcement.
The singer looked joyously happy as she showed off her pregnant figure for the cameras, at the unveiling of Anthony Joshua's capsule collection for Boss, BOSS x AJBXNG.
Smiling Ellie, 34, wore a relaxed lockdown-fitting leisure outfit from the collection as she attended the Boss store in Regent Street, London. It was the first time she had been seen in public since August 2020.
Hours earlier she had revealed how she found out she was pregnant on her one-year wedding anniversary to husband Caspar Jopling.
"That was not the plan. The thought of getting pregnant didn’t seem like it could be a reality," Ellie shared via an Interview with Vogue magazine.
"Becoming pregnant kind of made me feel human. I want a better word than womanly, [but]—I have curves I’ve never had before. I’m enjoying it. My husband’s enjoying it," Ellie added.
The Lights songstress said she opted to keep her pregnancy private as she came to terms with the news.
Ellie had been working hard on a healthy eating book - Fitter. Calmer. Stronger. - when she found out about the baby and said for a long time she was 'in denial.'
"I was in such a good streak of fitness. I actually went from being smug about how healthy my salads were and my breakfasts and eating nuts and seeds, and then all I wanted was McDonalds."
Ellie also told the fashion bible that she can't wait to return to work when she's had the baby and is already looking forward to a new album and tour having spent much of lockdown in the recording studio.
