Ellie Goulding has topped the singles chart for a second week with her new single, Love Me Like You Do.
Featured on the Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack, the song shifted combined sales of 118,000, earning the pop singer her second week at No 1. It was the fastest selling single on its release last week.
Hozier’s Take Me to Church crept back to No 2 for its 21st week in the top 40, while Mark Ronson’s Uptown Funk soared past the 1m sales mark and sits at No 3, according to Official Charts Company data.
Following his four-time Grammy win at the 8 February event, Sam Smith’s In the Lonely Hour has returned to the top of the British album chart. His Atlantic-straddling, million-selling debut, has yet to leave the top 10 since it was released in May 2014.
Chart lurker Ed Sheeran is in at No 2 with his second album X, while Drake’s surprise release, If You’re Reading This, It’s Too Late, is the top 5’s only new entry, and shot straight to No 3.
