Talk show host and comedian Ellen DeGeneres on Thursday revealed she has tested positive for COVID-19.

DeGeneres, 62, made the announcement via social media, writing, in part, on Twitter: “I want to let you all know that I tested positive for Covid-19. Fortunately, I’m feeling fine right now. Anyone who has been in contact with me has been notified, and I an following all proper CDC guidelines.”

Production on her hugely popular daytime gabfest, “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” has been suspended until January. DeGeneres wished everyone well, adding “see you all again after the holidays.”

According to Deadline.com, DeGeneres broke the news to her staff via a letter. The report also noted that the show had finished its most recent taping on Tuesday. There had been limited numbers of in-studio audiences over the past few months since production resumed in October.

Though most of the episodes have featured virtual guest appearances, there have been in-person guests this month including Leslie Odom Jr. (Dec. 9), Bryan Cranston (Dec. 4), Diane Keaton (Dec. 3), Lil Nas X (Dec. 2) and Justin Bieber (Dec. 1).
