Ellen DeGeneres found herself being the subject of a 'death' jibe at the MTV Music Awards last night.
During Monday night's ceremony, an 'In memoriam' segment aired paying homage to celebs who had sadly passed on in the last year.
However, the MTV awards decided to spoof the classic Awards show moment by mocking a number of famous faces from Ellen to Scott Disick.
Host Nikki Glasser began: "'I'd like to take a somber-slash-awkward moment to acknowledge all that we've lost in the world of unscripted entertainment this year."
A sombre black and white montage then flashed up on screen, starting with 'Ellen's reign of terror 2003-2021.'
This week it was revealed that Ellen's long-running chat show was being axed following plummeting ratings and allegations of a toxic work environment.
One former colleague accused Ellen's 'be kind' mantra as being 'bullsh*t that happens when the cameras are on' as a number of former workers spoke out.
As she broke the news her chat show was ending after 19 series this week, Ellen referenced the allegations telling viewers: "It started with attacks on me and attacking everything that I stand for and believe in and built my career around. I am a kind person.
"I am a person who likes to make people happy."
While MTV poked fun of the controversy during the ceremony, other celebs joining Ellen on the 'in memoriam' list was Scott Disick.
A snap of the reality star next to ex-girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian appeared on screen with a message that read: "'Scott Disick dating age-appropriate women 2006 - 2015."
After splitting with Kourt, Scott went on to date 19-year-old Sofia Richie for three years before moving on with model Amelia Gray Hamlin, 19, who he has been with since October 2020.
Scott said people who questioned their age gap were 'weird and judgemental' as he bragged about being Amelia's first serious girlfriend.
Star of hit Netflix series Love Is Blind Giannina Gibelli also made a cameo on the departed list.
The moment the bride slipped over and lost her shoe on her wedding moments after being jilted at the altar flashed up on screen along with the message ''Giannina's shoe 2020-2020.'
The MTV Awards saw Disney+ series WandaVision pick up the most trophies on the night - including best show and best performance in a TV show.
