Ella-Rose Clover's mum talks of 'indescribable' pain as she shares family photos of murdered toddler

The heartbroken mum of toddler Ella-Rose Clover who was murdered in Wythenshawe has paid tribute to her little girl who 'everybody loved'.

Pagan Clover, 26, told how the pain of losing her little girl is 'physical' and like nothing she has ever experienced.

Little Ella was struck in the stomach by Michael Wild, 30, when they were left alone.

She passed away in hospital as a result of the blows, aged just 22 months.

Wild was with a minimum of 20 years at Liverpool Crown Court on Monday.

His co-defendant Sharleen Hughes, who was Ella-Rose's godmother and Wild's partner, was found guilty of causing or allowing the death of a child; and two charges of attempting to pervert the course of justice.

She will be sentenced on Wednesday.

Ella-Rose's mum has now paid a touching tribute to her little girl.

Mum Pagan said 'there is no way to describe how it felt' losing Ella.

She said: "The pain is physical; it feels like nothing I have ever experienced.

"Ella’s death hasn’t just affected me; it had had an indescribable impact on my entire family and network of friends.

"Ella was a little monkey, she was infectious and everybody loved her, now everybody’s heart is in pieces.

"My son Harry will never get the chance to meet his big sister. Freyah will never see her sister, her best friend again. My family and I will suffer for the rest of our lives."

Pagan said that little Ella showed 'nothing but love' for the pair who were responsible for her death.

They were a 'massive part' of her daily life and came across as though they loved her.

Pagan added: "Then they both breached our trust and Ella’s in the worst way possible.

"Never would I have believed that either of them could ever hurt our baby.

"Ella was loved beyond words and there will always be a hole in my heart that only Ella can fill.

"There are no words to describe the feeling of pain and loss.

"No level of punishment will ever be enough but maybe knowing that Mick Wild can never harm another child will go some way to helping us all heal one day."

Ella was left with her godmother Sharleen as she usually would be on January 21, last year.

But she tragically ended up being left alone with Michael Wild, who was believed to have been secretly hitting and bullying the baby for months.

During her short life, Ella suffered a string of mystery health problems.

But sadly, her mum had no idea that Wild was the person causing them.

After a seven week trial at Liverpool Crown Court, Wild was sentenced to life imprisonment by a high court judge.

Mr Justice King said Wild went to collect Pagan to 'bring her to the scene of her dying child'.
