The 1994 live-action movie The Flintstones featured an impressive cast, including John Goodman, Rick Moranis, Halle Berry, Jay Leno, and Elizabeth Taylor. Taylor, known for her iconic roles, had specific demands while filming the movie.

One of the demands was that she received a gift every day she was on set. Kyle MacLachlan, who played Cliff Vandercave in the film, shared this detail during a podcast interview. He mentioned that Taylor required greenery in her dressing room trailers as well.

Producer Bruce Cohen, who managed to secure Taylor for the movie, revealed that she wanted the experience to be special. Taylor had a tradition of receiving gifts on the first day of photography, with a preference for items from Cartier.

To accommodate Taylor's request for gifts, Cohen sought assistance from executive producer Steven Spielberg. Spielberg agreed to personally fund the gifts, as it was not included in the movie's budget.

The Flintstones marked Taylor's final movie appearance before her passing. Despite this, she continued to take on TV roles in the late '90s and early 2000s. Taylor used her role in the film to raise $330,000 for the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation.

Throughout her life, Taylor was a prominent advocate for HIV/AIDS research, leveraging her platform to raise awareness during the '80s and '90s. She passed away at the age of 79 due to congestive heart failure.
