Elizabeth Olsen shares powerful life rule she learned from Mary-Kate and Ashley

Elizabeth Olsen has become one of Hollywood's biggest stars thanks to her role as Wanda Maximoff in Marvel's Avengers movies as well as her new Disney+ show, WandaVision.

After becoming a household name, many people finally came to realise that she's related to two other big names from film and TV - Mary-Kate and Ashley.

Yep, the famous twins are her big sisters and she's learnt a lot from them over the years.

She claims watching her siblings live in the spotlight during their childhood has helped her navigate how to approach her own career.

The former child stars also gave her some invaluable advice for life, in the form of a mantra.

Appearing on The Off Camera Show on YouTube back in January, Elizabeth was asked by host Sam Jones whether she has a "mantra or rule" passed down from her family that affects the way she conducts herself and her business.

She replied: "I think there are two things, something my sisters always say which might have come from my father at one point... that 'no' is a full sentence. You can just say 'no'.

"I really like that, especially as a woman, I just really like that in all aspects of life."

A clip of Elizabeth sharing the important advice has since gone viral online, being shared on Instagram by Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner and being viewed by thousands on TikTok.

Sophie posted that she "loved" Elizabeth's life mantra - and people on social media couldn't help but agree.

One person commented on TikTok: "Wow. That's amazing. I never realised that I always try to explain myself when saying no. I can just say no."

"I'm teaching this to my daughter," proclaimed a second.

"We need this on a shirt," said a third.

Someone else wrote: "No. It's a full sentence. I'm glad I heard this."

A different user added: "From someone with full anxiety, who always feels like they need to explain themselves... this is really powerful."
