A person has died after an incident on the Elizabeth line at a west London train station.
A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: "Officers were called at around 11am today to reports of a casualty on the tracks at Hanwell railway station.
"Officers responded but sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene.
"The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
There has been major disruption on the Elizabeth line, the Heathrow Express and Great Western railway on Monday as a result.
In an updated statement on their website shortly after 2.15pm, National Rail said: "The emergency services have completed their work between London Paddington and Southall, allowing all lines to reopen.
"Trains running between London Paddington and Heathrow Airport / Reading may still be cancelled, revised or delayed by up to 30 minutes whilst service recovers.
"Disruption is expected until 15:00."
National Rail later said disruption was over at 3.45pm.
