Elizabeth Hurley 'scoops £300,000 deal to model for Karen Millen'

Elizabeth Hurley has landed a tasty deal with fashion brand Karen Millen to be the new face - and body - of their fashion line.

The 57-year-old model and actress is also reportedly picking up a six figure fee for her work and is tipped to strip down to showcase their bikini collection and swimsuit line.

Liz is no stranger to posing for the camera in a two piece, as she’s often showing off her own designs online and via social media.

And while the star is well known for her love of high-end fashion – snapped on red carpets wearing Versace – she will be bringing extra glamour to the mainstream fashion company.

A Karen Millen source told The Sun on Sunday: “Elizabeth is a national treasure and the brand is excited by this high-profile deal.”

While the figure given for Elizabeth’s deal is said to be a not too shabby £300,000.

Despite being three-years shy of turning 60, Elizabeth often shows off her enviable figure online as she models her own swimwear collection for fans, followers – and consumers.

The star recently discussed her approach to diet and exercise with Women’s Health magazine, telling the publication she has a relatively casual approach to keeping in shape.

She said: “I don't really do any set exercise, per se, because I prefer to get my exercise from doing something than being in the gym.”

She also cited gardening as a key way she keeps in shape – heading outdoors to spruce up her shrubs all year round.

She explained: “I do as much outside during the winter as I do during the summer.

“Not only do I feel, well, actually exhausted, but also I feel that I've got the leaves up, which is also a nice thing.”

She added: “I’d rather do housework than go to the gym. I’d rather scrub a mirror—it does just as much.”

She also opened up about other aspects of her lifestyle, revealing she limits her 'online' time to help ensure she gets enough sleep.

She said: "I don't take my phone into my bedroom anymore, and I don't take my electronics upstairs.

The star has shared her top keep-fit tips in the past (Instagram)

"At the beginning of the pandemic, I was on my iPad at bedtime, watching the news and actually really scaring myself,' she continues.

"So having done that for the first few months of the pandemic, I then left everything downstairs, went upstairs, and went back to a hard book, instead of reading them on my iPad. And I have to say, my sleep quite improved in leaps and bounds."
