Kyree Walker, a 247Sports Composite four-star basketball recruit in the 2020 class, has left Hillcrest Prep, according to his father, Khari.
Walker, a 6-foot-6 wing rated No. 35 nationally and No. 7 at his position, who had committed to Arizona State when he came to Phoenix after his freshman year in the Bay Area, had reopened his college recruiting.
His father texted that his son will “graduate in the next few weeks and will play right after.”
“Either in college or on professional level,” Khari Walker texted.
Walker left Hayward (Calif.) in the summer of 2017. He was the MaxPreps National Freshman of the Year in 2016-17 at Moreau Catholic, where he averaged 21.5 points, 6.6 rebounds and 3.9 assists.
He played the last two years at Hillcrest, He has offer from Arkansas, Western Kentucky, Arizona, California, Illinois, Memphis, Kansas, LSU, Michigan, Oregon, Texas and UCLA.
Asked if his son has a college favorite, Khari texted, “We are consolidating his list at this time. Will have a final 4 schools real soon.”
