Eli Manning: Odell Beckham the most talented player I’ve ever played with

Eli Manning has been the New York Giants quarterback for 15 seasons. He has played in more games and taken the most snaps than any other player in the 94-year history of the franchise.

So, who was the most talented player he’s ever played with? Why, it’s recently traded wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., that’s who.

Manning was speaking at the NYIT (New York Institute of Technology) head injury awareness event in Woodbury on Long Island on Wednesday when asked the question.

Few can deny the answer, unless you want to make an argument for Hall of Fame defensive end Michael Strahan or Tiki Barber, the Giants’ all-time rushing and all-purpose yards leader.

Beckham played only five years for the Giants but made an impact on both the record books and the highlight reel. He was traded to Cleveland two weeks ago for safety Jabrill Peppers and two draft picks.

Newsday’s Neil Best was on hand for the seminar in which Eli spoke on the growing concern over head trauma and CTE being experienced by both former and current NFL players.

Obviously the Q and A session carried over into questions over than the subject matter of head injuries.

Bradshaw, Jacobs and Snee have been long-time defenders of Eli Manning and will undoubtedly react lovingly to Manning name-dropping them in such a way.
