Eli Manning has an excellent tip for Giants starter Daniel Jones

You’ve probably read and heard enough about how classy Eli Manning has been throughout his New York Giants career, and how good he’s handled all the media attention.

Sorry, but I’m going to repeat all of that: On Wednesday, he handled being benched and passing the torch to rookie Daniel Jones with class and was fantastic with the media at his locker in East Rutherford.

The best answer of the day from the noted prankster came from a question about the advice he had for Jones. Was it something about how to handle the spotlight? Something that Manning did when he found out he was starting? Nope.

Very good, Eli. Of course, Manning has thrown 241 passes into the hands of someone not wearing the same jersey — 14th all time, if you’re scoring at home — in his career. But it’s good advice!
