Elfingrove organisers issue apology after demand 'surpasses' all expectations

organisers are urging Glaswegians to be patient after demand for the new Christmas extravaganza 'surpassed all expectations'.

As r by Glasgow Live, tickets for the new sound and light show at Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum went on sale this morning.

after thousands of people reported the website had crashed due to the numbers flocking there, bosses sent out an assurance.

A via Kelvingrove's Twitter page reads: "Huge apologies if you’re experiencing difficulties trying to buy tickets for Elvingrove this morning.

"We have spoken to the event organisers who have assured us they are working round the clock to get things sorted. Demand has surpassed all expectations. Thanks for your patience."

Dozens of disgruntled people took to the event Facebook page to express their disappointment, with some raising concerns about ticket holders from last year's GlasGlow event getting first access to pre-order.
