The Saudi Health and Education Ministeries announced on Sunday that in-person will resume for elementary and pre-school students on January.
The decision applies to public, private, international and foreign schools, they said in a joint statement.
Remote learning will continue for students who cannot attend classes for health reasons.
The statement added that the move reflects the continued cooperation between the Health and Education Ministries and the Public Health Authority in implementing precautions against the coronavirus as in-person learning resumed at the secondary and middle school levels.
