A burglar forced his way into a Giltbrook home through the back door.
Officers from Nottinghamshire Police are now appealing for information following the incident in Ludlam Avenue on November 27 at around 6.40pm.
The information has just been released.
A spokesman for Nottinghamshire Police, said: "It's been reported a man has forced entry to the back door to the property and stole cash and an electronic facial massager.
"The offender has been described as a white man in his late 30s, wearing a grey jacket and grey trousers."
