Electrician goes to work in women's gym shorts thinking they were boxers

An electrician mistakenly wore a pair of women's gym shorts thinking they were his boxers.

Robbie Marshall from Buckhaven, Fife, Scotland was late for work one morning and in a rush put on a pair of "purple boxers" lying around the house.

Little did he know he picked his brother's girlfriend's gym shorts.

The 20-year-old shared the hilarious incident on Twitter still wearing the pair of purple and orange Nike shorts along with his work vest.

And in a second picture, he pulled his trousers down to show a rear view of the £20 training shorts.

The original owner of the shorts is Britney Payne, 20, who is engaged to Robbie's brother Ryan.

Robbie had to wait nine hours before his shift ended to change out of the shorts.
