Electric Picnic jobs: Annual Stradbally, Co Laois festival is looking for traffic marshalls and event stewards

The clock is ticking down to one of Ireland's biggest festivals Electric Picnic and tickets are like goldust.

Taking place in Stradbally, Co Laois every year, people travel from far and wide to attend.

If you've missed out, there could be another change to go - by working the festival.

DC Site Services are looking for staff from August 29 through to September 2, and you get to enjoy the fun on your downtime.

If you're interested, here's what they're looking for:

Traffic Marshall

  • Ensure the smooth movement of traffic through the site or car park
  • Ensure traffic is moving but at the correct speed limit
  • Park cars quickly and efficiently
  • Check vehicle passes where appropriate
  • Escort vehicles through crowded areas
  • Be vigilant of possible hazards or issues and report to your supervisor

Event Steward

  • Assist the public where necessary
  • Be the ‘face’ of the event answering questions from the public.
  • Assist the public in emergency situations
  • Keeping a watchful eye for inappropriate/criminal activity and report accordingly.

Shifts Available (subject to change):

Between 8 hours and 12 hours long. All shifts will include an unpaid break.

  • Early Shifts
  • Night Shifts

Arrival Information:

You will need to arrive the night before your first shift for briefing and training
