Electric Picnic final line-up released with loads of new acts added

Electric Picnic returns after a two year break this September and it's set to be a cracker of a weekend.

The hugely popular festival which sees tens of thousands of revellers flocking to Stradbally wasn't able to take place in 2020 and 2021 due to Covid-19 but this year it's back with a bang.

And now the full line up has been confirmed with a host of new acts added to an already stacked programme of music and arts.

Notable headliners this year include mega acts such Megan Thee Stallion who will be making her Electric Picnic debut, Tame Impala, with Arctic Monkeys also set to make a glorious return as well as Irish behemoths Snow Patrol.

Today a host of more brilliant acts have been confirmed including the likes of The Corona, Declan McKenna, Becky Hill, James Vincent McMorrow, The Academic, King Kong Company.

On top of all that brilliant music funnymen The 2 Johnnies will also be making an appearance across the weekend.

And if you fancy something different from great music, Electric Picnic this week confirmed their comedy line up this year.

Leading the charge is Dylan Moran, star of cult comedy classics like Black Books , Shaun Of The Dead, in Good Vibrations and Pixie.

Other huge names such as David O'Doherty, Jason Byrne and Deirdre O'Kane lead the line up while a host of up and coming talent will also appear including the likes of Killian Sundermann, Emma Doran and Shane Daniel Byrne.

Electric Picnic takes place between September 2 and September 4.
